Mike McConnell specializes in helping Karem Built Homes customers locate the best build location, be it acreage or a subdivision lot. He works as a liaison between customers, developers, and Karem on pricing, deed restrictions or any special requirements in placing the new home on the property.
With 25 years of experience in contract negotiations, Mike anticipate problems before they arise. The key to any build, he believes, is full communication between all parties, and to make sure each client feels certain they will be happy long and short term in their new neighborhood or locale.
Mike’s first meeting with a new customer is usually in the Karem Built model home, where he discusses with each customer the advantages of building a custom home, pointing out upgraded and higher end finishes. He will get to know the customer’s needs, share general pricing, talk about building time frames, and how Karem Built Homes has the ability to do the construction loan for the customer so they don’t have to worry with that process. Mike will also coordinate their move-in date by helping them sell their existing home.
A Louisville native and long-time realty professional, Mike has learned secrets to success in all aspects of residential and new construction, along with raw land purchases, specializing in northeastern Jefferson, Shelby, and Oldham Counties – this is just one of many attributes that makes him uniquely qualified for his important role.
