Don Karem, President of Karem Built Homes, is a native of Louisville and graduate of St. Xavier High School, the University of Louisville, and Bellarmine University. As a distinguished business professional in our community, Don is the only builder in town that holds both a Bachelors and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Kentucky. Don is a recognized builder within the industry. He has been distinguished as a Homearama Grand Award Winner for new home design and decorating. In addition, he has won the best home design sponsored by the Sales and Marketing Committee of the Home Builders Association of Louisville.
Don Karem maintains active membership as a Registered Builder of the Home Builders Association of Louisville, the Home Builders Association of Kentucky and the National Association of Home Builders of the United States. Don is a partner in the Energy Star building program, building Energy Star certified homes, the most energy efficient homes available. He is also a realtor with Prudential Parks & Weisberg Realtors and a member of the Greater Louisville Association of Realtors, the Kentucky Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
