At Karem
Built Homes, it is our goal to make your
home building experience an easy and
enjoyable process. Following is an outline
of how the building process works.
1.
1. Decide that you want to build a Karem Built Home.
You've seen some model homes, and made some comparisons in price, design, and quality with other builders. Now you are ready to set up an appointment for a meeting to discuss the size home you need, what features you are looking for, and see just what your budget can build with Karem Built Homes.
2.
Select Your Home Site/Location.
We will assist you in selecting a location
that most closely fits your needs and the
needs of your family.
3.
Select Your Home Design.
We have many designs to choose from or we
will custom design a home for you. You may
select various options and determine how
your home will finish out.
4.
Pricing Your New Home.
After we have determined the location and
the design of your home, we will price it in
accordance with the options you select.
5.
Signing A Contract For Your New Home.
At this point, we will sign a purchase
agreement, collect your down payment, and
iron out any last minute details.
6.
Work Through Your Mortgage Process.
If you have not made your mortgage
application, it will be necessary to do so
at this time. Once you are approved, we can
begin construction of your home.
7.
Actual Construction of Your New Home.
Once receiving a letter of intent from your
financial institution and your down payment,
we will begin construction. We estimate the
home to be complete in approximately four to
six months.
8.
Pre-Closing Walk Through & Meeting.
Prior to closing, we will meet with you at
your new home and make a thorough
inspection. We will record any adjustments
that are required and complete them as soon
as possible. If you have any further
questions about your home, we will answer
them at this time.
9.
Official Closing of Your New Home.
At closing, we transfer the home to you. We
will give you the keys, your warranty, and
anything else you have not yet received.
You may now move-in and enjoy your new home!
10.
One-Year Inspection.
After living in the house for a year, you
may find some minor adjustments that need to
be done. You will complete and submit to us
a one-year callback form and any adjustments
or corrections will be made.
